The Samsung Galaxy J6 and J4 will be two among the four J series handsets reportedly launching this year. While we did know the J6 will launch shortly, a leak has just shown us a possible launch date. The tip comes from an Indian blog who captured an advertise of the handset in a retail outlet.
As per the tipster, the handset launches on May 25 in India. If the info is correct than the Galaxy J6 is believed to be priced at Rs 16,490 for the 4GB variant while the 3GB variant will cost Rs 13,990. Last week we learned the entire spec-sheet of the handset as it was exclusively reported by SamMobile. This week we have images. While we did know that the handset would have an Infinity Display, we only see now what it looks like. While it is far from the flagship level quality, it also doesn’t look like the mid-range A series. Well, at least it has minimal bezels. The back also seems to be made of plastic and the source says the battery won’t be replaceable.
Now for a quick specs overview drawn from leaks. That display measures 5.6-inches and is of the AMOLED variety. Also, it has an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The processor in the driving seat will be none other than the Exynos 7870 processor and you’ll likely get 32GB/64GB storage options.
No dual cameras yet for the Galaxy J6 as info points to a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front shooter. If all goes well, we’ll surely see the handset launch in India shortly and global launch should also be close.
