On Tuesday, apple held a special event called. In this event, the Cupertino giant introduced the brand-new iPhone 15 series, Series 9 Apple Watch, Apple Watch Ultra 2, and some updates on its existing products and services. In short, the Apple Wonderlust event was fully packed, and you can read all about the launched devices on our detailed coverages.
However, prior to the event, there were rumors regarding more product launches scheduled for the Apple Wonderlust event. While they didn't see the light of day yet, they could launch in the next scheduled event. Want to know what those products are? You would want to keep on reading.
Black Apple Watch Ultra
The first-gen Apple Watch Ultra came in a natural titanium colorway. It was the only option available for the watch. But prior to the Apple Wonderlust event, we've had reports from Bloomberg and ShrimpApplePro regarding a black version.
The introduction of a black Apple Watch Ultra seems fitting with the current iPhone 15 Pro lineup. In case you missed the Apple Wonderlust event, the new iPhone 15 series comes in four different colors, which include a black color variant. But Apple launched the 2nd Gen Apple Watch Ultra in only one variant, which, again, is natural titanium.
Apple iPhone 15 Ultra
For months, we've had conflicting rumors regarding Apple ditching the Pro Max name and replacing it with the “Ultra” moniker. If you missed reports regarding it, most sources hinted that the 6.7-inch high-end model of the iPhone 15 series would simply be called iPhone 15 Ultra. But there was no Ultra phone in the Apple Wonderlust event.
While there's still a chance of Apple releasing an iPhone Ultra model, it won't happen this year. And there are only two Pro models for the iPhone 15 series launched at the Apple Wonderlust event. They are called the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
A Wide Range of USB-C Accessories
If you are caught up with the Apple iPhone 15 series launched at the Apple Wonderlust event, you may already know that Apple ditched the Lightning cable. Instead, Apple went all-in on USB-C. Apple has also updated some of its current accessories with a USB-C port, which includes the Apple AirPods Pro 2.
However, a few days before the Apple Wonderlust event, Mark Gurman from Bloomberg reported that Apple was working on many new USB-C accessories. That includes a redesigned MagSafe Battery Pack and MagSafe Duo.
As a matter of fact, Apple discontinued both accessories after the event, just like the iPhone 13 Mini. And these are not the only two accessories that Apple has yet to update. That includes the Apple Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse.

Color Matching USB-C Cables for iPhone 15
Prior to the Apple Wonderlust event, multiple sources reported that Apple would bundle new braided USB-C cables with the iPhone 15 devices. These sources hinted that the cables would be available in different colors, matching the color options on the new iPhones.
Now, even though all the new iPhones come with a braided USB-C Cable, they all have the same white color. Also, Apple is not selling other color options for the braided cable separately. This suggests that the leaked colored cables might be for another Apple product. For example, it could be for the upcoming iMac.
Faster Charging Speeds on the iPhone 15 and Thunderbolt Support
Last month, several sources suggested that the new iPhone 15 models will support faster charging speeds. To be specific, the sources hinted that the new models launched at the Wonderlust event would go up to 35 watts. To compare, the iPhone 14 Pro last year was limited to 27 watts, while the regular iPhone 14 was capped at 20 watts.
But at the Wonderlust event, Apple didn't mention anything about faster charging speed on the iPhone 15. Even the official Tech Specs webpage mentions that the iPhone 15 Pro can charge 50% “in around 30 minutes with a 20W adapter.” So, it's still unclear whether the new phones will indeed have faster charging speeds.
Moving on, both the regular iPhone 15 and 15 Pro models have a USB-C port. However, only the Pro models support USB 3.0. That means they are the only phones in the series with up to 10 Gbps data transfer speed. However, a ChargerLAB report last month suggested that all models would feature faster data transfer rates.
New Apple iPad and Mac Models
The Apple Wonderlust event had nothing about new Macs or iPads. However, Apple usually waits for October or November to announce newer models of these devices. But in the past, Apple did bring out new iPads alongside the new iPhones. Well, that didn't happen this year. And there's a good reason why.
According to a recent report from Bloomberg, Apple is expanding the internal testing of Macs that are powered by the M3 chip. Among the new models, there are the updated versions of the 13-inch MacBook Air, iMac, 13-inch MacBook Pro, and Mac Mini. They are all in line to come with the new chipset.
Mark Gurman also told MacRumors that Apple will likely announce the new iPad Air next month through a press release. But the new Macs could have a dedicated launch event.
No News About Apple TV
Apple didn't mention anything about its range of TV streaming devices. However, that's quite expected, as a recent report from Bloomberg hinted that the next-gen Apple TV will be coming in the first half of next year. But we may not see the devices getting released at an event. Instead, it could be through a press release.
