Rugged Ulefone Armor 15 crowdfunding Kickstarter project is already closed with funds raised. And now coming with an update of color selection and address filling invitation for backers. As per their project timeline, it is time for mass production of Armor 15 to start soon. Ulefone brand has their own factory and focus on manufacturing high quality products at good value as advertised. Therefore, a production video of Armor 15 got unveiled to help backers and Ulefone fans to follow up on the project. Let’s check out how it is working in their production plant.

Made with built-in TWS earbuds and amazing 5 hours of listening time per charge or up to 505 hours total battery life with Armor 15 case, this rugged model makes your travel just lighter. Then we get 5.45-inch display or 2MP main camera + 13MP macro lens dual rear camera setup to shoot with more detail. Eventually MediaTek Helio G35 chipset with 6GB of RAM for smooth operations or 12 OS for fluid experience.

Looking at the overall video, the whole process of manufacturing is quite smooth and efficient. The workers are just dutifuly assembling parts and testing the phone. And the production process is fairly streamlined as well. After all, with 10 years of hard work, Ulefone has rich experience in manufacturing professional tri-proof smart devices. Their workers in the plant have been professionally trained with the vision to provide reliable products and services to customers. Workers assemble the produced motherboards, card slots, cameras, power supplies and other components. This step is completely manual and requires very careful attention. When a complete mobile phone is assembled, a series of tests will be carried out. Specifically on the contacts, accuracy, touch screen, operating system, camera replacement, induction, earphones, calls and much more.

According to Ulefone officials, last step for the production are numerous durability tests for the Armor 15. Including touch screen test, pressing test, mini-drop endurance test, USB endurance test, drop test of 1.5M from multi-angle, crushing test, high/low temperature test of -40℃-55℃, sand & dust test, tumble test, 1.5m waterproof test within 30 minutes, ball pressure test 30g/60g/90g/130g or aging test. Those tests are made to secure the durability and toughness of the machine.

Judging from the production tempo, it seems the Armor 15 is almost ready to get shipped to the backers and fans. And it should be available on the Ulefone’s official website pretty soon as well. So are you ready for it ?
