Samsung is set to unveil its latest flagship, Galaxy S21 series. According to official information, the company will release this series on January 14th (tomorrow). However, we are still getting more information regarding this series. The latest leak is the colour options of the Galaxy S21 series. Popular Twitter leakster, @ruandt shared some high-resolution rendering of the Galaxy S21 series. The images show some “custom” colours that have not been seen before.

Starting from the Galaxy S21 Ultra, we only saw the phone with Phantom Silver and Phantom Black colours before. According to the latest exposed pictures, the phone will also have three custom colour options with dark tones. It is reported that the one with the graphite surface will be called Phantom Titanium, the other two colours seem to have dark blue and brown surface coatings.

When you come to the Galaxy S21+, you can see a bright red colour scheme with a contrasting rose gold frame and camera module. Others are available in black, purple, pink and light blue.

As for the standard version of the Galaxy S21, the phone will be available in four colour options. The colours include white, black, pink and purple.

These three phones will have IP68 dust and water resistance, but it is said that the standard version of the Galaxy S21 uses plastic materials, while the more expensive Galaxy S21 + and Galaxy S21 Ultra use glass and metal materials.

Galaxy S21 on Exynos 2100 is not inferior to the SD 888 version

In terms of processor, there will be two versions – the Exynos 2100 SoC and the Snapdragon 888 SoC versions. The Samsung Exynos 2100 SoC is not inferior in performance to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. In fact, there are some test database that claims that the Exynos 2100 performs better.

According to the source, the Galaxy S21 with Exynos 2100 will be 25-35% higher than that of the Galaxy S20 based on the Exynos 990. The Galaxy S21 based on Snapdragon 888 will also increase, but only 15% is promised, compared to the Galaxy S20 on Snapdragon 865.

Samsung Galaxy S21 series price speculation

According to industry reports, there is information about the prices of all three models of Samsung Galaxy S21 smartphones in South Korea:

  • Samsung Galaxy S21 will cost 990,000 won (about $ 900)
  • Samsung-Galaxy S21 + will cost 1,199,000 won ($ 1,085)
  • Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will cost 1,450,000 won ($ 1,320)
