Rise of popularity of the mini PC models is not surprising, because nowadays you can really pack very powerful hardware into a tiny box. You will save plenty on the electric bill and it will also take pretty much zero space. But there are small mini PC models and then there are SMALL. The upcoming GMK NucBox certainly belongs in the latter category, because it will a palm-sized one. And it will be launching very soon on the Indiegogo crowdfunding platform, where you can already secure your 24% early bird discount.
The makers of GMK NucBox want it to be the world’s smallest mini PC model with 62*62*42mm dimensions and just 125g of weight. Considering the size it will pack quite a punch with Intel Celeron J4125 quad-core processor, 8 GB LPDDR4 RAM and 128/256/512 GB SSD storage options. On top of that plenty of ports with dual USB 3.0, USB Type-C, HDMI, microSD slot or 3.5mm audio jack. The little box should be also made of metal, which is another piece of good news. And with 10W TDP it won’t be most certainly power hungry.
