The much-awaited Infinix Zero 5G smartphone’s key details have popped up on the internet ahead of the phone’s launch. In an exclusive interaction with GizNext, Infinix Mobile CEO, Anish Kapoor revealed that the company will launch its first 5G-ready smartphone in India early next year. Aside from that, the company is prepping to unveil seven more devices in the country in the first half of next year, according to the chief executive. Ahead of the launch, leaker Mukul Sharma spotted the Infinix Zero 5G on Google Play Console earlier this month.

The phone’s recently spotted Google Play Console listing suggests that the Infinix Zero 5G will pack a MediaTek Dimensity processor under the hood, Moreover, the phone could ship with 8GB of RAM. Last month, the design of the upcoming smartphone surfaced online along with a slew of other vital information. Now, the Infinix Zero 5G smartphone’s live images and specifications have been leaked. This fresh information has been shared by Tech Arena24 on their YouTube channel.
Infinix Zero 5G Specifications (Expected)
The hotly-anticipated Zero 5G smartphone will reportedly sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,460 pixels. Moreover, the screen delivers a refresh rate of 120Hz. The front panel has a punch-hole notch in the center to house the front shooter. To recall, the Google Play Console listing has already revealed that the phone will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor, which is built on a 7nm fabrication process. Aside from that, the phone will come with a highly competent Mali G68 GPU. Furthermore, the Zero 5G will run Android 11 OS with Infinix’s own XOS skin on top.
In the photography department, the Zero 5G houses three rear-mounted cameras. Moreover, the rear panel features a dual-tone flash. The rectangular camera setup will be available in the left corner of the rear panel. The phone will feature a 48MP main camera. Aside from that, the phone will come with two auxiliary sensors. These include ultra-wide-angle and telephoto lenses. There is a possibility that the ultra-wide-angle lens could serve as a macro lens as well. The front panel will have a 16MP shooter for capturing selfies and video calling.
What Else To Expect?
The upcoming Zero 5G smartphone will reportedly draw its juices from a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. According to an earlier report, the phone’s battery is likely to offer 160W fast-charging support. Furthermore, the phone’s side edge is likely to feature a fingerprint scanner that also serves as the power button. If the leaked renders are anything to go by, the phone will be available in a green color option. However, Infinix could introduce more color variants at the time of launch.
