iQOO is gearing up for a big event in China where the iQOO Neo 8 series and iQOO Pad will be introduced. Ahead of the May 23 event, the company brings some joy to its fans in India with the iQOO Z7s release. The latest smartphone was unveiled today as a decent 5g mid-range phone with the Snapdragon 695 and AMOLED display. It serves as a follow-up to the vanilla iQOO Z7 launched earlier this year. Let's see what this device has in tow for the mid-range market without further ado.
iQOO Z7s 5G Specifications
The iQOO Z7s packs a 6.38-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution. The panel also has a 90 Hz refresh rate and a built-in fingerprint scanner. As usual in the budget segment, the phone packs a waterdrop notch for the 16 MP selfie camera. It also has a double camera setup with a 64 MP shooter leading the way. The secondary shooter is just a 2 MP unit for depth sensing, but one of the surprising aspects of this phone is that it has Optical Image Stabilization as the primary camera.
Gizchina News of the week
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G comes with 6GB/8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of Internal Storage. You can further expand the storage via a good micro SD card. The device comes with an IP54 water and dust rating and has a 3.5 mm audio jack. In terms of software, the iQOO Z7s runs android 13 OS with Funtouch OS 13 running atop.
The iQOO Z7s will cost about INR 18,999 ($230) in India for the variant with 6 GB/128 GB. There is also another option with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of Internal Storage. It retails at INR 19,999 ($242). Both options are available in Pacific Night and Norway Blue colorways. The device is on sale through Amazon India and the official iQOO India store.
