Although there's no official date yet, Nothing is pretty much set to release its second phone. Named the Nothing Phone (2), it builds upon the hype that made the Phone (1) so famous. And as officially teased, the phone will be nothing but a premium smartphone in the market.
But what about its specs? Will it go head-to-head with the current flagships, such as the xiaomi 13 Ultra and Galaxy S23 Ultra? Not really! Previous reports regarding the specs have suggested that the phone will not come with the latest and greatest hardware. And the latest leak basically confirmed it.
Specs of Nothing Phone (2) Leaked!
As we already know, the Nothing Phone (2) will not feature the current high-end processor of Qualcomm. Instead, it will pack the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, which is a last-gen flagship SoC. Even with that chipset, the upcoming Nothing phone will reside close to the current flagships and have a massive leap over the current mid-rangers.

Besides the SoC, the other specs of the Nothing Phone (2) are flagship-level. As the leaked specifications say, the phone will come with a 6.55-inch AMOLED screen with an FHD+ resolution. The panel will boast a 120Hz refresh rate and sports an in-display fingerprint sensor.
When it comes to the cameras, the Nothing Phone (2) is reported to come with a 50MP primary sensor that will have OIS. Unlike the Phone (1), there will be two secondary sensors instead of one. Nothing is also expected to offer two RAM and storage options. That is, you can get it at 8GB or 12GB of LPPDR5 RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Regarding the battery, the Phone (2) is tipped to pack a large 5000mAH battery with fast wireless and wired charging support. The leak also mentions satellite connectivity, NFC, and stereo speakers. As you can see, with these specs, the phone will definitely not be a regular mid-range device.
