According to reports from popular Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple plans to upgrade MacBook Pro laptops this year. The report claims that the notebook will come with a stronger and faster processor and a newer display. In addition, the next-generation MacBook Pro will also come with a new MagSafe magnetic charging interface. According to reports, this will make the MacBook charge faster.

The new laptop will have two screen sizes, a 14-inch model (J314) and a 16-inch version (J316). Analysts believe that both products will use an iterative version of Apple’s Mac processor (such as M2). The chip will have more cores as well as an enhanced GPU. While the analyst claims that the source is legitimate, it has to remain confidential.

In November last year, Apple replaced Intel chips with AR-based M1 chips. Three devices, including the 13-inch MacBook Pro, have been widely praised by users. In addition to stronger chips, Apple also plans to use brighter and higher-contrast screen panels on its next-generation MacBook Pro. The appearance of the new Mac will be similar to the current version, with some minor changes in design.

MacBook Pro to include many changes

In terms of the release date, there are speculations that the new MacBook Pro will launch in the middle of the year. The new MacBook Pro models will continue to support the ‌type-C port, with two USB-C ports located next to the ‌MagSafe port, and two USB-C ports on the other side. With the return of MagSafe, the report claims that the new-generation MacBook Pro will support faster-charging speeds.
