Last month, OnePlus announced the 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro smartphones in various markets. The OnePlus 9R was also made official last month as an India-exclusive device. It appears that the smartphone will be no longer exclusive to the country as it is set to launch in China at 2 PM (local time) on April 15. Ahead of the launch, the smartphone is now up for reservations through retailer platforms like OnePlus China’s online store, JD.com, Tmall, and Suning.

OnePlus is endorsing the OnePlus 9R with a popular fictional superhero named Ultraman Tiga to showcase its performance prowess. The handset will be arriving in two colors like Black Island and Blue Island in the home market. In terms of specifications, it could be identical to the Indian variant.
