Realme Book Launched With 11-Gen Intel Processors, Two Colors

Realme has unveiled the Realme GT 5G, Realme GT Master Edition and its first-ever laptop dubbed the Realme Book Slim in India today. The hotly-anticipated Realme GT series and the laptop was announced during a launch event at 12:30 PM (IST). The Indian-based Chinese smartphone maker live-streamed the launch event via the official Realme India YouTube channel and Facebook account. The company is set to hold three events today to launch products in Europe, China, and India.

The India, and China launch events began at the same time at 12:30 IST / 15:00 Beijing / 07:00 UTC. Before hitting the store shelves in India, the Realme GT series was made available outside the country. So, the Indian model could come with the same specifications as the Chinese variant. The Chinese Realme GT model ships with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. The Realme GT 5G Master Edition, on the other hand, packs a Snapdragon 778G SoC. Other expected features include a large battery, an AMOLED display, and a high refresh rate.


Realme Book Laptop Launched

As mentioned earlier, Realme Book is the first laptop from a popular brand. The device will be made available in India as the Realme Book Slim. The ultra-slim and lightweight laptop pack 11-gen Intel Core processors. Furthermore, this 14-inch ultrabook runs on Windows 10 OS. It features a robust battery that delivers an impressive 11-hours battery life on just a single charge. Aside from that, the laptop comes in a premium-looking all-metallic frame in two highly appealing color options. You can choose between grey and blue colors, per GSM Arena.

Coming to the display, the Realme Book offers a 2160×1440-pixel resolution, paired with an aspect ratio of 3:2. On top of that, there’s a Corning Gorilla Glass on top for additional security. Details about the version of this Corning Gorilla Glass are scarce at the moment. It offers 400 nits of peak brightness. The Intel 11-gen Core i3 and Core i5 processors are coupled with Iris XE integrated graphics. Moreover, the laptop features an efficient dual-fan cooling solution.

The laptop will ship with 16GB LPDDR4x RAM and offer 512GB PCIe SSD storage. For connectivity, it has a headphone jack, a Type-A USB 3, a Type-C USB 4/Thundebold port, and a Type-C USB 3. In addition to that, the laptop comes with Wi-Fi 6 support and has Harman Kardon stereo speakers. It runs on Windows 10 OS with a Windows 11 upgrade soon. There’s a 54Wh cell that delivers up to 11-hours of battery life. There’s a 65W charger that you can connect via USB-C.

Price & Availability

The Realme Book model that ships with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage will retail for CNY 4,299 ($663). The slightly larger variant that comes with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage will set you back CNY 4,699 (about $725). The Realme Book will go on sale in China on August 25.

The Realme GT is likely to hit the store shelves in India at INR 30,000 (about $400) and 35,000 (about $470). The smartphone with 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM  comes at a starting price of CNY 2,799 ($430) in China. The same model retailed for EUR 449 (about $526) in Europe.
