The hotly-anticipated Realme GT 2 smartphone has arrived on Geekbench, revealing the upcoming phone’s key specifications before launch. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer will be taking the wraps off its GT 2 series soon. With the series’ launch around the corner, Realme is leaving no stone unturned in a bid to tease the impending phone. The company gave us a glimpse of the Realme GT 2 series’ key features earlier this month. Moreover, the Realme GT 2 and the GT 2 Pro models have passed through multiple certification websites lately.
Not too long ago, the Realme GT 2 was listed on the NBTC website, confirming the device’s model number RMX3311 and moniker. Taking to Weibo recently, the company’s President of Global Marketing and Vice President, Xu Qi Chase shared details about the Realme GT 2 Pro smartphone’s display. Chase revealed the upcoming device’s design, refresh rate, and resolution. Now, the vanilla Realme GT 2 seems to have arrived on Geekbench benchmarking website. Moreover, the phone’s Geekbench listing reveals its model number as RMX3310. Aside from that, it also sheds light on the device’s key specifications.
Realme GT 2 Spotted On Geekbench
Ahead of its launch, it seems that the Realme GT 2 has been benchmarked, carrying model number RMX3310. The phone scored 1125 and 3278 in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. Furthermore, the phone packs a Snapdragon 888 processor under the hood. Also, it will ship with 12GB of RAM. In the software department, the Realme RMX3310 boots Android 12 OS based on RealmeUI 3.1. To recall, the Realme GT 2 was previously spotted on the BIS and TENNA certification websites.
According to the aforesaid listings, the GT 2 will sport a 6.62-inch AMOLED display. Aside from that, the phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset. This processor will be paired with 8GB and 12GB of RAM. Furthermore, the handset will offer 128GB and 256GB of onboard storage capacity. For optics, the GT 2 will house three rear-mounted cameras. These include a 50MP main camera, an 8MP camera, and a 2MP lens. Upfront, it houses a 16MP shooter for selfies and video calling.
Moreover, a 5,000mAh battery that supports 65W wired charging will be powering up the phone’s system. The device’s dimensions are 162.9 x 75.8 x 8.6mm and it weighs 198.9 grams. The Realme GT 2 series is slated to launch globally on January 4. The impending flagship series will comprise the Realme GT 2 and the GT 2 Pro models. Both models are likely to offer notable upgrades in terms of design and hardware over their predecessors.
