Realme GT Neo2 smartphone has made an appearance on Google Play Console with key specifications ahead of the phone’s official unveiling. The upcoming handset has been floating around the rumor mill for quite some time now. The Realme GT Neo2 launch date in India, pricing, and other key details have already been tipped. However, Realme has neither confirmed nor denied these speculations.
Earlier this week, a report indicated that the phone could launch in India soon. Despite the lack of an official confirmation, another report suggested that the GT Neo2 could go official in the country on October 13. With the Realme GT Neo2 appearing on Google Play Console, it looks like the phone’s launch is just around the corner. Regrettably, details about the exact launch date are still few and far between.

Although the GT Neo2 has been subject to several leaks lately, Realme is still mum on the phone’s launch date and availability. However, the phone’s Play console listing suggests that it is likely to hit the store shelves soon. Aside from hinting at the phone’s imminent launch, the listing divulged some vital information about the Realme GT Neo2. For instance, it suggests that the phone’s display will offer 1084 x 2400 pixels resolution. Aside from that, the listing shows that it will run Android 11 OS out of the box.

Under the hood, it is likely to pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. Furthermore, the handset could ship with 8GB of RAM. Realme could later introduce a 12GB RAM variant that comes with a hearty 256GB of onboard storage capacity. According to tipster Yogesh Brar, the phone will not bear the previously speculated INR 25,000 price tag. He suggests that Realme GT Neo2 could retail for around the same price range as the X7 Max launch price.
Launch Date & Specifications
As mentioned earlier, the Realme GT Neo2 could hit the store shelves in India on October 13. Furthermore, the phone is likely to offer the same specifications as the Chinese version. It features a 6.62-inch display with Full-HD+ resolution and a high refresh rate of 120Hz. Moreover, the phone houses a 64MP triple camera setup at the back. Upfront, it has a 16MP selfie camera.
Furthermore, the recently surfaced Play Console listing shows that it will come with a Snapdragon 870 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM. The smartphone will be drawing its juices from a 5,000mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging. The fingerprint scanner will be available on the side edge. The phone will run Android 11 OS with ColorOS 12 on top.
