xiaomi is all set to launch the Redmi Note 13 series tomorrow. The launch event will take place in China. And after the launch, the new Note series should eventually make its way to the global market. However, alongside the new Note lineup, Xiaomi is also expected to debut the Redmi K70 series.
While the brand hasn't said much regarding the lineup, different certifications have given away some key details of the devices. For example, the Redmi K70 Pro, which has just popped up on Geekbench, will have a model code 23117RK66C.
But the Geekbench listing didn't only give away the model number of the device. It has also given us the performance info and key specs of the Redmi K70 Pro.
More About the Geekbench Listing of the Redmi K70 Pro
As you can see from the picture I've attached below, the Redmi K70 Pro runs on the latest android version, and it comes with 16GB of RAM. Considering the size of the RAM, it's safe to say that this particular device is one of the high-end variants.

Moving on, as the picture from Geekbench shows, the Redmi K70 Pro comes with an octa-core CPU. It features a 1+2+5 configuration, where the prime core is running at 3.19GHz clock frequency. The configuration and the clock speed of the prime core suggest that it's the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
Gizchina News of the week
And that would make perfect sense as last year, the Redmi K60 Pro came with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Considering the fact that the K70 Pro will be the successor, it should come with the 8 Gen 3.
Also, as the Geekbench benchmark shows, the SoC of the Redmi K70 Pro got 1100 in single-core and 5150 in the multi-core test. These scores are in line with the previous performance scores we got of the 8 Gen 3. When the Snapdragon Summit takes place, we will get detailed information about the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. And, of course, we will offer complete coverage of the SoC and the device when they officially launch.
