Samsung Galaxy A52 5G bags BIS certification; coming soon to India?

Last month, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 smartphones in India. In Europe, the company is selling the edition of the Galaxy A52. Fresh information reveals that the A52 5G has received certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). This BIS listing suggests that the Galaxy A52 5G may soon land in India.

The BIS certification only mentions the SM-A526B/DS model number and has no information on its specs. However, all the details of the A52 are known since it has already gone official in Europe.

The Galaxy A52 has a 6.5-inch S-AMOLED screen with an Infinity-O punch-hole design. It offers a 20:9 aspect ratio, a Full HD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and an in-screen fingerprint reader. It offers One UI 3.1 based Android 11OS out of the experience.

The Snapdragon 750G chipset is present under the hood of the device. In Europe, the handset is available in two versions such as 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. The handset features a microSD card slot for more storage.

The Galaxy A52 has a 32-megapixel camera for capturing selfies and video calls. The rear camera setup of the handset has a 64-megapixel primary camera with OIS support, a 12-megapixel ultrawide snapper, a 5-megapixel depth sensor, and a 5-megapixel macro camera.

The Galaxy A52 has a 4,500mAh battery that carries support for 25W fast charging. The handset offers other features like stereo speakers, IP67 certified chassis, and a 3.5mm audio jack. In Europe, the Galaxy A52 5G starts at €429 (~Rs 37,000).
