Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G has made its appearance on the TENAA certification website. The phone has been subject to multiple leaks and several speculations are surrounding its launch date, specifications, and other details.
Earlier this week, the affordable flagship phone from Samsung was listed on FCC certification. Much to the delight of those who have restlessly been waiting for more details to surface, the same smartphone has now been spotted on the TENAA certifications website. In other words, TENAA has finally certified the Galaxy S21 FE (Lite version or Fan Edition).
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G Appears On TENAA
As expected, the certification details include some key specifications. Aside from that, it has a few renders of the impending smartphone. The Galaxy S21 FE will come with a 6.4 inches display with a Full-HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution. Furthermore, the screen offers 16M Color Depth.
Regrettably, it is hard to confirm whether or not the device has a front shooter. However, MyFixGuide sources have confirmed that the center will have a single punch hole. It will support a refresh rate of 120Hz. The phone’s dimensions are 155.7×74.5×7.9mm. According to the certification, the phone measures 155.7×4.5×7.9mm.
However, the aforesaid dimensions seem incorrect, considering that 4.5mm width isn’t even possible. Apparently, the dimensions would be 74.5mm, which is the same width as the previous models. Also, the phone’s weight is 176 grams.
In terms of optics, the phone houses a 32MP, 12MP, and 8MP camera at the back. Upfront, there’s a 12MP shooter for selfies and video calling. The display also houses the fingerprint sensor. The listing suggests that the Galaxy S21 FE will be dust and water-resistant.
Moreover, the certification reveals that the phone will be backed by a 4370mAh battery with fast charging up to 45W support. According to the sources, Samsung will not include a charger in the box. In addition to that, they claim the device will be available in 8GB RAM+128GB ROM, and 8GB RAM+256GB ROM configurations.
Launch & Expected Specs
The Galaxy S21 FE has been assigned model number SM-G9900 in the certification, which implies it is the Chinese version of the device. Both, the Chinese and the US models are expected to pack the Qualcomm, Snapdragon 888 chipset. Samsung will use its own Exynos 2100 in models set to release in other regions.
Samsung is likely to unveil the Galaxy S21 FE 5G after its Unpacked event. The company is expected to announce the Galaxy Z series foldable phones at the event, which will take place in September, like last year. Renowned leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer (aka OnLeaks) claims that the phone will adopt the same design as the Galaxy S21 series, according to Gadgets360.
