On the global version of the Samsung website, an invitation to participate in the Galaxy Unpacked event appeared. The official date of the event – August 10 has got a confirmation.
“Innovation isn’t just about radical ideas; it’s about unlocking new experiences that transform our daily lives for the better. Meaningful innovations go beyond the technical and provide a platform upon which our everyday lives become richer and more versatile; opening us up to greater possibilities than ever before.” according to the Samsung website about the event.
According to the company, on August 10, those who wish will be able to verify how Samsung Electronics “pushes the boundaries”, “defies conventions” and “opens doors to new experiences.” Galaxy Unpacked will reportedly air on Samsung Newsroom, Samsung.com, and Samsung’s YouTube channel from 9:00 AM ET.

“To see how these possibilities will come about, join Samsung Electronics on August 10 to learn how the company is pushing boundaries, defying conventions and opening doors to new experiences. Galaxy Unpacked will be streamed live on Samsung Newsroom, Samsung.com and Samsung’s YouTube channel beginning at 9:00 a.m. ET”.
Previously, Samsung has already published a puzzle on Twitter; solving which, too, could find out the date of the event – now it does not require any effort. Judging by the animated banner, Galaxy Unpacked will present at least a new flexible model of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 smartphone. Samsung will hold the conference to showcase the Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold4; as well as other new products.
Tae Moon Roh (TM Roh), head of Samsung’s mobile division, said Samsung shipped almost 10 million foldable smartphones to the market last year, up 300% from a year earlier.
Also, the head added that among those 10 million phones, Galaxy Z Flip3 shipments accounted for 70%; exceeding the company’s internal expectations. Samsung believes that with the advent of next-generation foldable smartphones, the demand for such devices will continue to grow.
