Earlier this month, Samsung finally opened up the public beta of its all-new One UI 3.0 software update. The chaebol rolled out the update to the Galaxy S20 series via the Samsung Members app. After a couple of weeks, the One UI 3.0 beta made its way to the Galaxy Note 20 duo and soon will head over to the previous-gen Galaxy S10 and Note 10 series. As expected, Samsung first kept the region limited for the update and soon started expanding the circle.

Galaxy S20 owners in China are now getting One UI 3.0 beta!

Well, the latest One UI 3.0 software update has now made its way to Galaxy S20 users in China. The update is already available in markets such as the United States, South Korea, and India. The update has now expanded to China by the brand. This means that if you reside in China and own a Galaxy S20 device, then you can sign up for the public beta program on the Samsung Members app. Once you’re registered, you will receive the first beta update in a while.

After the Galaxy S20 trio, One UI 3.0 beta should hit the Note 20 duo in the country and whenever that happens, the process will remain the same. In China, the very first update comes with a firmware version G98x0ZCU2ZTJG which is the same as that of the second update in the US. This means that you will encounter fewer bugs since most of them were fixed in the second beta update. To recall, Samsung has conducted its beta program in the following countries – United States, United Kingdom, South Korea, Poland, Germany, China, and India.

Not every device will receive the One UI 3.0 based Android 11 operating system, yes! we’re talking about the Galaxy S9 duo and Note 9. While these devices will not receive Android 11, Samsung is rolling out the One UI 2.5 update instead. The update has already made its way to various markets and will soon also land in India.

What’s new in One UI 3.0?

With One UI 3.0 software, Samsung has incorporated numerous minor additions. Basically, the brand has focused more on improving the already existing software. The brand has added new Bixby Routines along with revert edits in Photo Editor. Galaxy S20 was known for its autofocus issue which seems to have been improved with this new software. There are various other nifty additions such as delete duplicate contacts, trash bin in the Messages app, customizable call screen, and much more.
