Tecno Phantom V, Tecno’s First Foldable Smartphone May Launch Later this Month

As I always say, Tecno is no more an entry-level or midrange phone maker like we have always known them to be. The Chinese Phone maker is determined to fight the flagship battle to the very top.

Tecno is one of the biggest smartphone sellers on the African market. But the target does not end there, the company wants to make a great statement in Europe, America and the Asian market as well. From all indications, it looks like it is on the right track to achieve this.

The company teased a really interesting concept phone last month. The device was a Rollable sliding screen smartphone. They call it the Tecno Phantom Vision V. It is a smartphone with a Rollable display. However, it was a concept device. This means it is a device for the future. Companies usually show concept products not just to show us a device for the future, they also do so to show the world what they can do.

Tecno May Soon Launch Tecno Phantom V.

Speaking of what a company can do, Tecno just showed to the world that it can also build a foldable smartphone just like Samsung, Huawei, Vivo and the rest. Tecno has showcased a foldable smartphone which may launch even earlier than expected.

The Chinese tech firm calls this foldable smartphone “Tecno Phantom V”. The Tecno Phantom V may already be in the works and sources claim that Tecno may even launch it later in February.

We have come across a hands on leaked image of the Tecno Phantom V. The design looks quite unique with more traditional book-style folding.

Taking a closer look at the Leaked image, the device comes with a narrow and long outer screen with a punch hole front camera cutout. The device features a triple camera setup on the back with an LED flash light.

Launch Date of the Tecno Phantom V

According to captions from the Leaked image, the Tecno Phantom V should launch in February 2023. It may also have a global launch on the 28th of February 2023.

These are leaks and Tecno has not yet made anything official. However, we will definitely discover more details if the upcoming foldable from Tecno is really launching this month.
