The Galaxy S24 Is Set to Dethrone All Flagships of 2024 (iPhones Included!)

The Galaxy S23 is off to a good start. Yes, the Galaxy S23 Ultra is outputting different issues from time to time. However, there is no denying that the phone offers tremendous performance. Well, all that credit goes to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. But with the 8 Gen 3, the Galaxy S24 might just be the perfect flagship phone of 2024. That, too, with the iPhone 15 series considered.

Although the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is far from seeing the light of day, recently, there have been a lot of rumors regarding it. And one of them comes from a renowned leaker, RGcloudS. On Twitter, the tipster shared details about the upcoming chipset, which will power the future Galaxy S24 devices.

What Can You Expect From the Galaxy S24 Lineup

With the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, Qualcomm will go head to head with the current performance king, the Apple A-series SoCs. At least, that is what the leaker suggested. According to RGcloudS, Qualcomm is looking for new ways to leverage its successes this year. And it could showcase the new chip's performance with the Galaxy S24 series.

Rumor has it that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is going to make big leaps in single-core performance. The chipset's high-performance Cortex-X4 core is expected to feature a 3.7GHz clock speed. And just like the predecessor, the 8 Gen 3 will feature three efficiency cores and four additional performance cores. That is, the 8 Gen 3 SoC will have a total of eight cores.

If the rumors of the 3.7GHz clock speed prove to be valid, it could mean that the Galaxy S24 could see a massive 15% boost. The chipset would also be impressively faster than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy. That SoC boasts a top clock speed of 3.36 GHz.
