Upcoming Smartphones in India Next Week
A total of three phones will be announced next week. All three of them are already official. It’s that they are just making their way to a new and crucial market – India.
A few days back, Realme took the wraps off the Realme 9i in Vietnam. The handset is now set to launch in India on January 18 (Tuesday).
It will be announced via a pre-recorded live stream at 12:30 PM on the brand’s official YouTube channel. Readers can also go through the company’s official Twitter account for real-time updates during the live stream.
As far as the device is concerned, it comes with a 6.6-inch FHD+ 90Hz display (LCD), Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset, LPDDR4x RAM, UFS 2.2 storage, 50MP (wide) + 2MP (macro) + 2MP (monochrome) triple camera setup, 16MP selfie camera, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11, 5,000mAh battery, and 33W fast charging.
Xiaomi 11T Pro
The Xiaomi 11T Pro will be released in India on January 19. Like any other Xiaomi event in the country, this one will also kickstart at 12 PM on the official YouTube channel. You can also expect live updates from the official Twitter handles of Xiaomi India and Managing Director Manu Kumar Jain.
Yesterday, Xiaomi disclosed that the handset will go on sale on announcement day itself. Customers will be able to order the product from 2 PM.
The Xiaomi 11T Pro, which is also known as ‘The HyperPhone’, initially went official in September 2021. In India, It will compete against the recently launched OnePlus 9RT.
The device sports features like a 6.67-inch FHD+ 10-bit 120Hz AMOLED display with Dolby Vision support, Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, liquid cooling system, 108MP (wide) + 8MP (ultra-wide) + 5MP (telemacro) triple camera setup, 16MP selfie camera, Dolby Atmos-supported dual stereo speakers tuned by Harmon Kardon, MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11, 5,000mAh battery, and 120W fast charging.
Tecno Pova Neo
The Tecno Pova Neo made its debut in Nigeria in early December 2021. It will make its entry in India on January 20. Just like the Xiaomi 11T Pro, this phone will likely go on sale on its announcement day itself.
The Tecno Pova Neo will be the cheapest of all three smartphones launching in India next week. It has features like a 6.8-inch HD+ (LCD) display, MediaTek Helio G25 SoC, 6GB + 128GB memory configuration, 13MP triple camera setup, 8MP front-facing camera, Android 11-based HiOS 7.6, 6,000mAh battery, 18W fast charging.
