Vivo is well known for launching multiple smartphones under certain lineups. In the mid-range department, the company has multiple Vivo Y20 series devices, multiple Vivo V20 devices, and now this is reaching the Vivo X60 series. The Vivo X60 series is already composed of six distinct smartphones. There are two Exynos 1080-powered smartphones in China and Snapdragon 888-powered Vivo X60 Pro+. In global markets, the X60 and X60 Pro drop the Exynos chip in favor of a Snapdragon 870 chip. There is even a Vivo X60t. Apparently, the company is not ready yet since it is gearing up to launch a new smartphone dubbed Vivo X60t Pro. This new variant has been certified by China’s 3C.
Vivo X60t Pro coming soon with MediaTek Dimensity 1200
According to the 3C listing, the Vivo X60t Pro has the model number V2120A. It comes with support for fifth-gen networks and 33W fast-charging. Unfortunately, the listing didn’t reveal anything else about the Vivo X60t Pro internals. However, the handset might come with a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC under the hood.
As a Vivo X60t Pro, the handset should bring improvements over the vanilla Vivo 60t handset. For those unaware, the T variant comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC, which is a smaller brother for the Dimensity 1200 SoC. It brings a Cortex-A78 core clocked at 3GHz and three Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.6GHz. The Dimensity 1100 lacks this single 3GHz-clocked core. Other specifications in this device include Android 11-based OriginOS straight out of the box, plus 8GB of RAM with 128GB of Internal Storage. We assume that Vivo will equip the smartphone with its new virtual memory feature.
Vivo X60t specifications
For photography purposes, the X60t comes with a 48MP primary camera joined by a 13MP ultrawide and 13MP portrait units. The device also has a center-aligned punch-hole comprising a 32MP selfie shooter. The display is a 6.56-inch AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2400 x 1,080 pixels. The device has a fingerprint reader underneath and draws power from a 4,300mAh battery with the same 33W charging.
The Vivo X60t Pro may come with a similar display with the same resolution and refresh rate. It may also bring Vivo’s iconic gimbal-like stabilization system on its primary camera. We hope this time around, Vivo brings a 64MP to make it better than its vanilla sibling. The Pro variant may also have up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of Internal Storage
