Vivo Y21e launched with Snapdragon 680 SoC, dual cameras, and virtual RAM support

After a few leaks, the Y21e is finally official in India. The smartphone comes in the budget segment and has highlighting specs such as the Snapdragon 680 SoC, a big 5,000mAh battery, and support for virtual RAM.

The Y21e is priced at Rs. 12,990(~$175) for the sole 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage variant. The smartphone is available in Midnight Blue and Diamond Glow colors and it can be purchased from ’s official website. It will be also available for purchase from other authorized retail stores in India.

Y21e Specifications 

The Y21e sports a 6.51-inch LCD notch display with an HD+(1600 x 720 pixels) resolution. It has the standard 60Hz refresh rate and an Eye Protection mode that filters the blue light making the screen easier for the eyes.

It is equipped with a dual-camera system at the rear with a 13MP primary lens at f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. It is a vertical camera module with an LED light below the sensors. Upfront, it has an 8MP selfie snapper with an f/1.8 aperture. The phone has various camera modes like the Face Beauty mode, Portrait mode, and supports HDR.

The device is powered by the 6nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The phone comes with 0.5 GB of virtual RAM support. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging technology. The dual-SIM device supports 4G connectivity and has a USB Type-C port and Bluetooth version 5.0 support. As for security, it has a side-facing fingerprint scanner and facial recognition support.
