As per Xiaomi earlier confirmation, it shall be launching the highly expected Xiaomi Mi Band 3 fitness tracker, tomorrow, May 31th at its annual product launch event in Shenzhen, China. The launching of Mi Band 3 has been confirmed.
Screenshots of the device where included under a listing quoting a price of 169 Yuan (approx. $25.5).
This is to be the third-generation of Mi Band. The device is as of the type of Bluetooth 4.2 enabled and will include a heart rate sensor, a step counter, a calorie calculator and a sleep tracker.
The first-generation of Mi Band provided a poor low quality strap, and users expressed their discontent mainly as a result of the easily losing of the device or getting loose and falling at sport activities. Xiamo overcome this significant weakness under the second-generation release, providing a more firm trap, reducing the risk of losing the device, and an OLED display to improve user’s data reading and one surprise: the Mi Band 3’s OLED display will support gesture-based actions (although in a limited way) such as swiping up/down (changing / switching functions) and swiping right/left (for browsing items).
